About the project

With our 10 year-olds we would like to work on these activities:
November: - Introduction: 1: Power point with the pictures of the two friends with names and birth dates.
2: Each student presents him/herself to his/her pal telling them their names, short description of what they are like and their likes and dislikes.
- They share information about their school timetable and what they do in their free time.
December: - They send Xmas cards and maybe a little hand-made present to everyone in the other country.
January: - They take a picture of their bedrooms and describe them using prepositions of place.
February: They take a picture of their wardrobes and describe its content using “There is…”, “There are…”, “some”, “any”…
March: - We put up a Fashion-show.
April: - We talk about sports, the activities they like or don’t like and the activities they can or cannot do.
May: - Holidays are getting nearer so we talk about transports related to places to go to and how to get there.
All year:

. To find new friends.
. To have fun.
. To get to know a different culture.
. To improve our ICT skills.
 

The idea of the project is that each child has a friend throughout the school year to exchange all works.
We will prepeare a powerpoint where each pair of friends (one from every school) will appear with the photo and name. We will hang them in the classrooms so each student knows who his/her friend is.
At the same time we will start prepearing the presentations of each student and send it to the other in writing, by ordinal post.
We will also send Xmas cards to everyone.
