About the project

With our 8 year-old students we would like to work on these activities:
General: Send birthday cards to pen friends.
January: 1: They send their partners a presentation letter with basic information. 2: They draw self-portraits and share them with partners.
February:1: Send Valentine cards.
2: The partners exchange descriptions of typical food from their countries. They write a set menu and then dialogues where one is a waiter/ress and the other the costumer.
March: 1: We talk about habits: get up/ have lunch/go to school/go back home, etc. We talk about time (always o’clock)
April: 1: We work on transports and places. Places to visit at Easter.
May: 1: We work with the Present Continuous Tense: We tell each other where we are spending our holidays.

Aims

Work process

The idea of the project is that each student has a friend throughout the school year to share and learn from. They will exchange works and get to know each other through the ICT tools. There is an activity for each month so that there is a pattern to follow.
